Before You Decide

Confirming Your Pregnancy

Your first step in deciding what you will do with your pregnancy is to ensure that you are in fact pregnant and that your pregnancy is viable. An ultrasound is the best way to confirm your pregnancy and also answer vital questions that will determine which options are available to you, including how far along the pregnancy is, whether the pregnancy is viable, if the pregnancy is developing inside the uterus, and more. Take a minute to learn more about our pregnancy testing and ultrasound services , and contact us to schedule yours today.

Options Coaching

If you are pregnant, it's completely normal to have a strong range of emotions and oftentimes anxieties too. It's critical during this time to have confidential, compassionate, and non-judgmental support to listen to you and help you sort through your options. Once you confirm your pregnancy, contact us to schedule an appointment for options coaching, where one of our options coaches can help you determine what resources and options are available to you.

Abortion Information

If you are pregnant, it's normal to have a wide range of strong emotions about it. You might be wondering what to expect if you decide to get an abortion. If you are considering having an abortion, our staff is here to provide you with the information you need before you make a decision.

Abortion Procedure Information

Before deciding on whether you will have an abortion, it’s important to have all the facts. There are two primary types of abortion procedures: medical abortions and surgical abortions. You may be eligible for one type or another, depending on how far along you are. Either way, it's critical during any procedure to understand exactly what is happening, and what the risks are. While we do not perform or refer for abortions, Hope Pregnancy Center can provide you with support and facts based on the best available research to help you make an informed decision. Schedule an appointment today to receive further information before making your decision.

Please do not attempt to perform an at-home abortion. It is extremely dangerous and could cause serious health complications.

Not Ready to Talk? â€‹

Here are a few options for you if you're not ready for an in-person appointment yet:

Adoption Referral

A lot of people think adoption is just "giving your baby away," but that's not true. Adoption can be a brave and compassionate decision to provide your child with a safe, stable family environment, even if you yourself aren’t ready to do so. Adoption is not something suitable for every situation and person, but it is an option to consider during an unexpected pregnancy. Hope Pregnancy Center will provide you with information while you decide if adoption is right for you.

Adoption Options Information

Something that many people aren't aware of is that adoption can take on many different forms. The birth parents have lots of options, such as:

  • You choose your child’s parents. There are an abundance of all types of families ready to adopt.

  • You can email, talk to, text with, or even meet the adoptive parents before your baby is born.

  • You decide how things go at the hospital. You can see and hold your baby. You can even name your baby!

  • You can choose to have on-going contact with your child and the adoptive parents after adoption.

  • You can make plans for your future and be proud that you gave your baby the life you wanted him/her to have.

We can help you explore the options available to you from the type of plan to the type of family you want your child to have.  Both you and the baby’s father can be involved in the decision making process.

It takes courage to be honest with yourself and to ask for help.  Remember, you have the ability to choose the type of adoption that fits your current situation. Get in touch with us and make an appointment today to confirm your pregnancy and learn more about all your pregnancy options so you can make a fully informed choice.

To speak with a trained professional about making an adoption plan outside of Hope Pregnancy Center’s business hours, you can call or text someone at Lifetime Adoption.
