Deeper Still
A Deeper Still retreat is a gateway to the healing and freedom that Jesus has for the abortion-wounded heart. Each retreat is free of charge to attendees in a safe and confidential environment and led by people who have been where you are. It's bathed in prayer and touched by the Holy Spirit. Hope Pregnancy Center plans to launch the first Deeper Still chapter in New England and will begin hosting these powerful retreats right here in Connecticut.

Moving Forward
At our fall banquet, we highlighted stories of hope and new growth ahead. Our top priorities are to reach women before abortion with ultrasounds, after abortion with healing retreats and instead of abortion with mentors through their pregnancy & parenting journey.

Pennie Else
Hope has had a few key figures who have poured themselves into this ministry from the start, and one of these is board member extraordinaire Pennie Else who has shared her God-given skills as organizer and tireless advocate to serve with dedication for nearly 40 years. She shares,​ “In 1985 I learned what abortion is by attending 3 Sunday evening programs at the church presented by Jackie Copeland....the legal ramifications of the Roe v. Wade decision...the film "A Matter of Choice"...interviewing both pro-life and pro-choice people...[and] the film "Silent Scream" about the trauma and pain that the fetus suffers during the horrific tearing apart of its body or the burning of a chemical abortion.

The Lord led me to gather together anyone who would like to see what we could do to save the lives of unborn babies from abortion. Hope Pregnancy Center (then called Hope for Life) was formed, and God called me to volunteer my services all these years. It is a much-needed pro-life ministry, and it glorifies the name of God's Son Jesus Christ, who has led us in His ministry. I praise Him for calling me to volunteer my life, time, and resources.

offers Gospel-based human services to Waterbury and teamed up with us to offer food assistance to our clients.
Urban Alliance
is a faith-based networking hub that supports 130+ programs. They collect corporate overstock and provide us with free supplies like diapers & toiletries.
The Underground New England
is a faith-based non-profit in CT fighting human trafficking. They provided training for us and support for HPC clients impacted by trafficking.
WIHS 104.9 FM
is a Christian radio station in CT. They hosted us for radio interviews and we’ve joined them at community events.
ORTV
is a local Catholic TV network that has featured us several times.
As a member of the Connecticut Pregnancy Care Coalition we communicate with other centers in CT, refer clients and provide mutual support.
The Knights of Columbus,
widely known for pro-life efforts, have generously supported HPC this year with material drives and fundraisers.
Embrace Grace
equips the local church to offer support groups for pregnant moms. We give their Love Boxes to new clients and one client joined a local group who threw her a baby shower!
PreBorn equips pregnancy centers to share the gospel and save babies from abortion. They provide us with training, grants & more.
Students for Life of America forms pro-life student groups & equips them to stand for life. We engage in joint events and more.

is a pro-life coffee company that funds 900+ pro-life organizations in America, including HPC, through affiliate sales.

is a pro-life diaper company that affirms that every baby is a miracle from God and offers affiliate sales for pregnancy centers like HPC.

In the state of Connecticut, many of our elected officials diligently advocate for abortion and take action to increase its ease of access and normalcy.
​
This is not a political issue but a spiritual one and our response must be spiritual as well.
​
We regularly pray for pro-abortion state legislators by name and ask God to open their eyes to His love and truth.
​
Though we do not know what 2025 holds for Connecticut legislation and activism, we know that the Lord will be using us to meet men and women on the pathway to abortion with the good news of life and hope in Jesus Christ.
