During pregnancy, your body goes through many changes.

Some common symptoms of early pregnancy include a missed period, nausea, breast tenderness, frequent urination, tiredness and mood swings. Hope Pregnancy Center offers free pregnancy tests. Our tests check for a hormone called HCG that is produced by the embryo during pregnancy and evident in a pregnant women’s urine. While you can take a pregnancy test at any point in your cycle, it is generally suggested that pregnancy tests are most accurate when taken on or after the first day of your missed period. This allows enough time for a pregnancy to generate enough HCG hormone to be read by the test. Following these guidelines, the tests we use state they are 99.5% accurate.
